Synergy + Strategy + Another S Word
Synergy = Working Together
How do you get 20,000+ people to show up in the middle of downtown Chicago to conduct the biggest flash mob to date? You start with 20. That's the power of synergy and strategy. But there's something else that's needed to make it gel together. I guess you can call it a spirit, or in this case, a unified spirit.
Now what if we could get our churches + our families in the Spirit of the Living God together on the same page?
THAT HAS TO BLOW YOUR MIND!
You can feel like how I initially felt. At first, I feel a bit ashamed right now watching this video. Why? Oprah--great lady. But come on now, if people would come together for the Oprah show, then why can't we worship God like this on earth? Then I thought to myself, Scripture is fraught with the things "unseen" and "yet to come". But it's not all unseen, it's not all way out in the future. It's happening now and the problem is not that it isn't happening, but that we aren't able to see or discern it. We're so deaf, dumb, and blind sometimes. Ok, most of the time!
This video got me jazzed, and I don't think I can just blog about it and be done with it. Would you dare to pray with me that God would do something in your lives, in your churches, in your city, in this country?
Lord, I don't want to be all talk. Would you invite all those who read this and myself to see what you are doing and be so captured by it that it would consume us until we do something about it. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
