Jesus Christ Master of Tweets

Jesus Christ surely is the beginning and the end.  He was, and is, and will always be ahead of the curve.  Twitter should probably pay some royalties, but I contend to you that Jesus Christ is the master of tweets.

It's not hard to see if you take into consideration what He actually had to say.  When asked what the greatest commandment of all was, Jesus replied:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."  (133 characters!)

You might think, no big deal?  But with thousands of laws within Judaism and the entire Old Testament to handle, Jesus put the essence of it all down in 140 characters or less!

His shortest tweet?  Actually, it was a tweet of Him.  In John 11, someone close to Jesus dies - Lazarus.  The entire episode is fascinating, because you'd wonder why he would delay his trip to meet the need of a dying friend only to come four days after the funeral?  It's a testimony that tragedy is never the last word.  But in the midst of tragedy, Jesus didn't make light of the situation, he didn't belittle the people involved, he didn't give false hope.

"Jesus wept." (11 characters!  John 11:35)

Talk about saying less for more!
