Thursday Threes (8/5/10)
I haven't been much of a blogger this summer, but this season happens to be the busiest for most people who are in youth or children's ministry. I've tried to make it less so over the years, but the school calendar seems to dictate a lot of what we do in ministry, and I don't really know how to feel about that other than just having to work with the circumstances.
But in the midst of the summer schedule there are a few things that I am working on that I hope to blog about soon. Here are some working titles for some upcoming posts:
Is there a Right Way to Pray?
Six Things I'd Like to Happen @ My Funeral
I'm the Neediest Person I Know
But for today's Thursday Threes here are three books that I am currently reading right now:
1) Drive by Daniel Pink (a book on what motivates people)
2) How Good is Good Enough by Andy Stanley (the title says it all)
3) Have a New Kid by Friday by Dr. Kevin Leman (I'm always a bit suspect about book titles like this, but I work with kids... anything that will help!)
